The Papaya...whaT speciaL about it....^^

This fruit is rich in mineral salts and vitamins ( A,B,C and D) and has very curative properties in slow and difficult digestion , weakness of stomach ,jaundice, paleness, diabetes, asthma, coughs coming from lungs and pulmonary tuberculosis. If the tubercular patients eats this fruit for a long time, there is a possibility that the lung injuries will heal.

If a cut is made on the green fruit or leaves a milky substance is obtained which if taken in fresh is effective vermifuge. To expel intestinal worms give a dose of 8 to 15 grams of this juice for children from 2 to 7 years old and 15 to 20 grams of those older. One hour later, administer 10 to 15 grams of ricino oil as purgative.

Tea from few leaves of this plant has curative effect on dyspepsia and cardiac ailments. It is prepared by cooking the dries leaves. Ground seeds are good remedy against worms, gastric flatulency ,belch and in regulating menstruation. Eating 10 to 12 fresh seeds will cure ailments of the liver and facilitates the good secretion of the bile.

CAn a CaT be Alive And deaD at The same Time.....

Physicists have a saying : anyone who isn't confused by quantum theory doesn't understand it. And in 1935, the Austrian physicists Erwin Schrodinger devised a thought experiment to show just how weird it is........!!
Common sense says that atoms have clear-cut properties, but according to quantum theory, they exist in all their possible states at the same time...

Physicists initially hoped these bizarre mixed states were only relevant to subatomic world, but schrodinger showed it wasn't so simple. He imagined a cat being put in a box along with device that releases poison if it detects atoms undergoing radioactive decay.

According to quantum theory, these atoms will exits in two states-decayed and undecayed at the same time. But because the poison mechanism respons to the atoms, their bizarre mix of states won't just be relevant to quantum world; it also affect the cat, which will thus also be a mixture of poisoned and not poisoned. So why don't we ever see 'undead' cats?

Physicits wrestled with this for years and now think they have the answer, says Professor Jim Al-khalili of Surrey University .... " It's called ' Decoherence" , and it's kind of leaking away of the quantum weirdness as soon as a quantum object, like an atom, interacts with outside world.

''Schrodinger's cat is thus always either alive or dead because the radioactive atom takes one definite states when ir inteacts with detector in the box.

This isn't just an idea, though; in 1996, scientists in France measured decoherence taking place with atoms in mixed states in a real-life experiment.

How Do yoU knoW anYone elSe haS a ConscioUs MinD....

It's obvious they just act the right way giving sensible answer to reasonable questions , laughing at your jokes , buying a round of drinks. But how do you really know? What's to say they aren't just machines , programmed to respond in the right way? In 1950 the pioneering British computer scientist Alan Turing argued that such a machine might one day be possible with its artificial intelligence (AI) being impossible to tell apart from the real thing.

It's scary thought , but so far there's no immediate worry about chatting up in a tin box. During the 1980s, there was much excitement over so called expert systems , which tried to give computers human-like expertise in tasks like medical diagnosis. In practice, the computers proved far less flexible than human experts spawning the 'computers says no' syndrome.
But according to British Al researcher Steve Grand, big advances may be out to come from a better understanding of how the brains works. "The brain is the only working example of an intelligent system we have, " he says.

One of the most promising developments is neural computing ,where conventional computers are programmed to act like net works to brain cells. This has allowed computers to be trained to do things like driving vehicles, without being laboriously programmed. Even so, it's pretty clear they aren't really thinking so far , at least.

Are wE in Control oF ouR acTions

We'd all like to think we dictate the things we do by exercising our conscious will, but do we? For centuries philosophers have debated free will, arguing over its role in establishing morals and laws. But then neuroscientists and psychologists got in on the act with disturbing results.

By studying brain activity in people performing simple tasks, they have found evidence that free will may just be a comforting illusion.
In a series of experiments performed in the 1970s, the American neurologist Dr. Benjamin Libet found that even bran activity associated with something as simple as finger movements appears over half a second before the subjects become conscious of 'Deciding' to act.
More recently , sociologist Professor Daniel Wegar of Harvard University has shown our brains can create illusion of having taken a conscious decision to do something over which we actually exercised no control. For example, people who watch another person's arms moving don't feel the arms belong to them.
But then they watch again, while also listening to a recording that predict each movement before they see it, they then feel that these arms are under their control because thay know what to expect from 'theirs' arms

What was good In ManGO...

The Mango which is found everywhere in philippines and all other tropical countries contains Vitamins B and C aside from important mineral salts. It is very nutritious and curative, it can be considered as a very special fruits, even better than lemon for curing scurvy , disease of the gums , suppurations in the mouth , tooth ache and loose of teeth.

Whoever eats this fruits frequently , also purifies the blood , prevents the accumulations of mucous in the throat and respiratory tract , counteracts all kind of catarrhs , hoarseness , cough , diseases of the bronchial tubes , pain and debility of the stomach , intestinal laziness and fevers.

Tea made by boilinh the leaves of the mango trees , prepared as a concoction , counteracts the aforementioned bronchitis and diseases of the stomach. The same concoction is used for gargles and compresses to alleviate falls , bumps and bruises. Tea obtanied from the seed of this fruits , prepared as a concoction combats intestinal worms and parasites.

With the use of honey , very healthful syrup can be prepared from this fruits.
